Remediation is an individualised approach that uses structured, evidence-informed teaching strategies to strengthen academic and learning skills. It may support children experiencing difficulties with reading, spelling, writing, mathematics, attention, executive functioning, or Specific Learning Disorder (SLD).
How is remediation different from tuition?
Tuition primarily focuses on schoolwork and subject content. Remediation focuseson strengthening the foundational skills and learning processes that may be affectinga child's academic progress, with the aim of building greater confidence andindependence.
Can I book a parent consultation without bringing my child?
Yes. A parent consultation can begin without the child being present. It provides an opportunity to discuss your concerns, understand the situation, and explore practical strategies that may support your child and family.
